Starla and I finally broke down and bought a new TV. It is 40", LCD and Flat panel. We are enjoying it greatly. We are in negotiations on paying for Hi-Def.
After you remodel, the TV would look better nailed to the wall and then that beautiful red cabinet would get the attention it deserves. May with some "objex de art" displayed on top.
Better yet, recess it into the wall and put a picture frame around it, then play a running loop of your favorite art when you are not watching movies.
I don't know who I am more eager to meet, Calliope or the TV. OK, it's not really close, but I am a little jealous of the TV. My flat panel is only 32 inches. At least my Chinese kid is bigger than yours!
