What kind of joints are you making? (Woodworking joints, not Mary Jane.) I just started using a Kreg Pockethole jig. Wow is that easy! That got me started on square drive screws. I bought a whole bunch from McFeely's. They work much better than phillips head.
This is just held together with nails. I have a Paslode nail gun. My next educational endeavor will be to make actual joints. I might try some mortise and tenon for my bookcase.
