In case you were wondering
Aaron made me a super yummy cake . . . kind of like the honeycomb cake, but more of a Malaysian caramel sponge cake. Other highlights of my 36th birthday included our very first dinner out as a family of four (I don't count eating out in China), and a shopping trip to B&N where everyone got books. Present-wise, I have been emailing Aaron links to Victorian and Georgian opal rings in rose gold, but he has yet to take the hint. This blog post is my way of escalating the issue.
